Discipleship @ Crossway Multinational Church
So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. Colossians 2:6-7
Consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Hebrews 10:24
Vision for Discipleship
Our vision for people of Crossway Multinational Church is that we would be active in worship and service with the whole church, and also that every person is receiving spiritual care. This spiritual care and oversight can come in various forms, such as care within a family, or mentoring, or one-on-one discipleship, or a small group.
Vision for Life Groups
One way for receiving this kind of care at Crossway is through Life Groups. Life Groups are a context to support each other in living out the wholeness of the Gospel, a wholeness that includes loving God and people with our heads, our hearts, and our hands.
Four Strands of Life Group DNA
CMC cherishes unity in Christ among a diversity of individual nationalities, languages, cultures, and backgrounds. In cherishing diversity, we anticipate that no two Life Groups will be the same. So there will be differences in group composition, meeting times, content, and so on. In cherishing unity, we anticipate that each CMC Life Group will be striving to incorporate four dimensions of the Christian life. These could be considered four DNA strands, providing a blueprint for being (and replicating) CMC Life Groups.
