Vision for Crossway Meals

“Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.” Acts 2:46-47

Eating meals together is…
  • A powerful means of expressing God’s love for each other
  • A significant opportunity for people to contribute to our community (brings honor, gives a greater sense of inclusion and ownership)
So we encourage “eating together with glad and sincere hearts”
  • In our homes and restaurants and more throughout the week
  • Roughly once a month as one group after our worship services
We endeavor to have our Sunday meals reflect our vision:

For: All of us enjoy, are nourished, and are included

Of: All of us contribute in ways that are appropriate for us

By: All of us help shape the experience and fellowship together

Expressing love by inviting and by caring for those who share
